Tumlingtar Lukla Trek

Tumlingtar to Lukla Trek is one of the easiest trekking routes located in eastern Nepal. It enters the Khumbu (Everest) region and provides really superb view of Mt./ Everest and Mt. Makalu. It is located between Sagarmatha and Makalu Barun National Park, which means it provides you with a chance to see some of the most beautiful scenery in Nepal.

We organize this trek from Tumlingtar and follow the Arun River, Katike Pul, Majuwa Besi, Phedi and Gurase, Bung, Najingdingma, Panjum, and Paiya before reaching Lukla. The trek also offers magnificent views of Mera Peak and other peaks such as Mt Everest (8848m) Mt.Makalu (8463m), etc. The guests meet local people like Sherpa or Rai who have lived there for centuries and finally reach Lukla.

Itinerary

Day 1Tumlingtar (457m)

Buddha Air or Yeti air daily flight (30 minutes) from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar (15 km). Receive and welcome by MAST staff at the airport. Go to the pre booked hotel room in Tumlingtar. And have some rest. Buy something in the market you need. Meet your porter guide and be introduced with him. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tumlingtar.

Day 2Trek from Tumlingtar to Gothe Bazaar (775m)

After breakfast at about 8 commence your trek. Follow the trial on the side of Arun aiver, pass Chewa besi, cross the suspension bridge over the Arun river at Katike (300m). Continue walking through Baluwa Besi (320m). Majuwa Besi to Gothe Bazar (775m). Your overnight stay at a tea house there.

Day 3Trek from Gothe Bazar to Phedi (1680)

After you have your breakfast at the hotel at about 8 am commence your trek. Pass the village Dovane, continue walking uphill through Rai and Sherpa villages, cross large

Day 4Trek from Phedi to Sanam (2880)

After having your breakfast at about 8 am commence your trek. Pass Jaubari, Bilbate (2800m) Salpa Pass (3350 m) up to Sanam (2880 m).Find one of the best tea houses for your overnight sta there.

Day 5Trek from Sanam to Bung (2750m)

Have your breakfast at about 8 am and begin your trek. Pass the village Tiu (2470 m) Share , Gudel and up to Bung. Pay MBNP entrance fee ( Rs.3000) at the National Park Site office. Find one of the best tea houses at Bung for food and accommodation there

Day 6Trek from Bung to Najingdingma (2650m)

After breakfast at about 8 am begin your trek. Pass Khiraula,Charakot, Surke La (3085m) trek up to Najingdingma Find one of the best tea houses there for food and accommodation

Day 7Trek Najing to Pangum (2850m)

After breakfast at about 8 am begin your trek. Pass Gaikharka (2300m), Gompa,Kharka- up to Pangam La.(3173m) Find one of the best tea houses there for food and accommodation.

Day 8Trek from Pangum to Paiya (2850m).

After breakfast at about 8 am start your today’s trek. Pass Kharte,Khari La (3145m)up to Paiya. Find one of the best tea houses at Paiya for food and accommodation there.

Day 9Trek from Puiya to Lukla (2730m)

After breakfast at about 8 am trek up to Lukla.. Find one of the best tea houses at Lukla for food and accommodation there

Day 10Lukla (2730m)

This is your rest day at Lukla. Have enough rest as well as enjoy sightseeing around the place. Say goodbye to your porter guide. Also remember to report our company about the experience of your whole trek.

Day 11Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

Prepare for your flight to Kathmandu. We wish you to have safe comfortable journey.
